I graduated from Northern Michigan University (NMU) with a bachelors of arts and science, majoring in Multimedia Journalism and minoring in Art and Design with a focus in photography.

While studying at NMU, I was part of the on-campus radio, WUPX, and a contributing writer for the school newspaper, The North Wind. Additionally, I interned for the campus writing center where I participated in web editing and creating publicity content.

After university, I moved abroad to teach English in South Korea. While there, I had the opportunity to embrace a different culture while teaching students from primary education to adults.

My art has been shaped by my experiences and I’m always seeking more knowledge and discovering life through different perspectives.
